Tip: Clear, high-contrast images generally give us the easiest starting point, but don't worry if your artwork isn't perfect. We can let you know if it needs a little preparation before engraving.

Not every bottle is suitable for our laser engraving machine. Bottle shape, size, curves, coatings and other features can impact whether we can safely and successfully engrave it. The YETI products listed on this page are our tried-and-tested options. Other YETI sizes and styles, or other brands, may be suitable, but we'll need to check them first.

A few things to know
Every bottle is a little different
Even bottles from the same brand can have different shapes, coatings and finishes. That's why we don't automatically say yes to every bottle.
Your design matters
Simple names and clean artwork are generally straightforward to engrave. More detailed artwork, handwriting or unclear images may require additional preparation.
We'll let you know if there are any issues before proceeding.
Engraving is permanent
Laser engraving creates a permanent finish rather than applying a sticker or printed label. Because we're engraving into the surface of the bottle, the result is intended to last through everyday use.
BYO bottles
If you're getting your own YETI engraved, please make sure the bottle is clean and empty before dropping it off. We also recommend checking that the bottle isn't heavily dented or damaged in the area you'd like engraved.
Frequently Asked Questions
What file types are best for engraving?
SVG files are ideal because they provide the cleanest engraving result. However, please send us whatever you have available - many PNG and JPG files are clear enough to engrave with minimal additional setup required.
Can you engrave a name?
Absolutely. Names are one of our most popular engraving options.
You can also combine a name with a small design, logo or other artwork.
Can you engrave children’s drawings or handwriting?
Yes. We can work with many types of images, including photos of handwriting, drawings, illustrations and simple graphics.
For the best result, upload a clear photo or scan of the original. Some handwriting and drawings may require additional artwork preparation.
The final result depends on the quality and complexity of the original image.
Can you engrave logos?
Yes. We can engrave many logos and business designs.

Can you engrave any YETI?
Not necessarily. YETI makes a wide range of bottles, drinkware and other products, and not every shape or size is suitable for our engraving machine.

Will the engraving peel or wash off?
No. Laser engraving is permanent and doesn't create a sticker or vinyl layer that can peel away.
What if my water bottle has some wear and tear?
That’s usually not a problem. Minor scratches and everyday wear are generally fine for engraving. As long as the bottle isn’t heavily dented or damaged in the engraving area, we can often still personalise it successfully.
Can I get multiple YETI bottles engraved?
Yes. Multiple bottles are welcome.
If you're ordering more than 5 bottles with names only or the same design, we may be able to offer you a discount, so contact us for a quote.
This can be a great option for team gifts, business gifts, wedding parties, families or group presents.
